A Brief History of Adrasan
On November 17, 1995, Adrasan officially became a town (belde) under the name Çavuşköy. However, following the nationwide administrative reorganization under Law No. 6360, passed by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on November 12, 2012, the town lost its municipal status and was reclassified as a neighborhood (mahalle) of the Kumluca district.
Despite these administrative changes, Adrasan has preserved its village charm and natural character.
